Well isn't this a change in pace, city girl in the country! Today's outfit is a dress from H&M. I love dresses for two reasons. One, its a complete outfit and don't need to worry about matching separates. Secondly they are great to just slip on when it's really hot out. I loved this dress especially because of the cut. Finding dresses for work is hard for me because they always fell to short. This dress is longer in the front and the back as well as short on the sides, perfect for work. It also has a very nice print and pleating in the front and back. I hope you all like this outfit as much as I did. See you soon :)

       

Mermaid Love

Ever since I was little I loved mermaids. I think they are just so magical and free spirited.  Today was Coney Island's Mermaid Parade and this year I decided to go for the first time. I put together my outfit, hair and makeup with things I already had in my house. Next year I plan on making a mermaid costume and taking more pictures on the beach. Today was rainy and yucky so I really didn't get the chance to take as many pictures as I wanted to. Anyway I hope you enjoy this quick mermaid look :)

Hi love bugs! I recently went out to dinner with my family to celebrate me being hired with my first full-time job. We came across this mural and of course I had to take a picture in front of it, since it said Brooklyn.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a few pairs of trouser shorts and I have been loving them. This blog features one of the shorts that I bought from Forever 21. What I like about them is that they can be used for either a casual or formal look. For this blog I paired them with a basic tee for a somewhat casual look. Goodbye Winter!

Spring is finally here and I don't know about any of you guys but I am so excited! The summer is really my favorite time of year but spring is just as good. At least I'm not shivering and frozen all the time. I don't know what it is about the warmer weather but I always feel more awake and motivated to get up early, pamper myself and look nice. The sun and warm weather really makes me feel so happy.

With the weather being so nice I plan on starting some fashion posts, so stay tuned for that. Follow all my social media sties to keep updated on when I post. I also plan on updating you all on my most recent subbing experiences.

My sister and I were bored one day so I let her do my makeup. It came out really good so props to her!
